In recent years, the number of students interested in studying abroad has surged, making Canada a more popular choice than the UK and the US. In contrast to Indian universities, Canadian universities offer three admission intakes every year.
Canadian universities tend to get maximum student admission in the fall. Students who couldn’t get in the fall intake can also enroll in the winter intake. Summer intake courses may not be available in all academic departments. Also, all programs may not be available during the winter intake period. Hence, there are limited seats than in the fall intake for this intake.
As there are fewer applicants, there is less competition, which some students find to be an advantage. However, this is still your most viable option if you can’t get into the fall deadline. Many universities can accommodate applications for courses with vacancies.
Universities typically invite winter semester student applications with two-year intakes.
